Revcon Re-emerges With 4×4 Class C; RV Business (North Hollywood, CA); August 1993
Revcon Motorcoach Inc., Irvine, Calif,. Has re-emerged in the RV market with debut of a unique 30-foot, four-wheel-drive All Terrain Class C motorhome based on a Ford F-350 XLT crew-cab.
The 4×4 minimotorhome replaces the company’s earlier effort to market a highline, 4×4
Class A. Powered by Ford’s 460-cid V-8 engine, and with a gross vehicle weight rating of 14,500 pounds, it has a suggested base retail price of $69,950. the floorplan offers a full cabover bed, a convertible dinette, a slit center bth and a rear bedroom with an island queen.
Construction features include a steel framed floor, a smooth fiberglass exterior, solid-cast aluminum wheels rated at 3,300 pounds each, special aftermarket rear leaf springs and a tag-axle with air bags.
Revcon Chairman Ray Novelli said units will be sold through Ford dealers, with a goal of about 300 units annually.
